Technology Replacement Fund

For those City’s that have a technology replacement fund: 1-Do you keep track of each piece of equipment or have major technology categories? What are your categories? 2-Does your City have a technology purchasing policy in place that dictates what items can and cannot be replaced through replacement funds? If so, are there certain thresholds that apply such as a capital outlay, only Council-approved projects, etc.? 3-How do you identify additional money to your technology fund? Do you allocate a fixed amount each year or have identified funding sources? What are your funding sources? 4-Do you have a technology replacement portfolio that dictates the needs for upgrades/replacement? How is that structured? Your feedback would be greatly appreciated.
