Social physics can be used to tune networks for better productivity by providing a better understanding of how ideas flow from one person to another. This article provides an overview of social physics, and it explains the concepts of social learning, the criticality of diversity, and engagement through synchrony. In addition, this article also includes a review of Alex “Sandy” Pentland's book, Social Physics.
